multimedia installation, 3 drawings with pencil on paper(2m x 1m), 3 projections of animation, audio, length: 37’14” tables with typewritten pages, drawings though copy paper collaboration: Daniela Krajčová (author’s mother)

The video installation visualizes an authentic dialogue between the author’s mother and her relatives that reveals their long concealed partial Jewish ancestry. Three large-scale drawings depict building and places in Žilina built between 1939 and 1945, such as the football stadium tribune, the city Theatre and the so called „dead track“ next to the baracks building, where there was a Jewish gathering camp. The projection of the animation on the drawings responds to individual parts of the dialogue. One of the animation was created by the author’s mother who drew on printed images from a family video.
