Project “324” reacts on the history of the space of the bus station in the Slovak city Topolčany where used to be a jewish neighborhood. The alphabetical list of 324 surnames of the victims of Holocaust from Topolčany is transformed by the peculiar visual code, using the image of local Synagogue, to the 130 meter long colorful band painting on the wall. Under every surname represented by fragmented image of Synagogue there are printed the xeroxed pencil drawings of the figures according to the number of the persons belonging to every surname. Images of the figures ore copied from the opening scene of the Slovak movie “Obchod na korze”(1965), where the jewish and non-jewish inhabitants of the city walk peacefully in the city promenade. In the final animation made from the pictures on the wall some persons are disappearing because of the exact number of the victims from the list.
